I purchased both tests. I realized the shorter test of 50 questions did not help me at all. Not sure where those questions came from. I purchased the larger version option of 150 questions and this definitely helped me ace the test. I strongly suggest getting the premium packet. Every question on the DMV written test was in the downloaded material.

Well, the cheat sheet, although a good list of questions, was of somewhat limited use in my case. I took the eLearning online test and was surprised by the difference with the old written tests given at the DMV. But I'm glad I purchased the cheat sheet. I'd recommending it to other test candidates.

I failed the written test the first time at the DMV. Doing it on a computer was new. So I did all the practice tests, and passed with flying colors...

This practice test seems to be for beginners and not for experienced drivers.

It was a very valuable review of the Calif. Test questions. It stated why you should follow the specific rules. Questions that you would never guess would be on the test were gone over. I received a 100% on the test and I'm a senior who sometimes forgets where I put my keys.

Everything operated smoothly and all the questions studied were familiar to me on the official test.

The DMV Cheat Sheet for the driver's license written test really helped me study. The section that presented pictures and information of all street/highway/freeway signs was especially perfect. Also the 24 DMV practice tests really helped me have a wide breadth of questions that covered all practical sections of driver's book on rules of driving. I was very happy for both of these DMV sites the cheat sheet site led me to DMV Practice Tests site.

The cheat sheet really helped me pass my driver's test the first time. I took the senior test and only missed three questions that were not on the cheat sheet. But that doesn't matter because I passed the test! It helps to also take the 24 practice tests from DMV.

I passed, but there were some 3-5 questions on the test that were not in the cheat sheets. I had to use common sense and deductive reasoning to get some right and had to skip others. I still passed, though. So, yes, these cheat sheets are helpful, but do study the booklet as well. You can listen to the audio book on YT: it is like two hours. It is not the first time that I see DMV use new questions. Conclusion: cheat sheets are a great study aid and practice, but DMV appears to constantly come up with newer/modified questions which will not be on it. A combination of the book AND cheat sheets is the best way to prepare.
