I passed, but there were some 3-5 questions on the test that were not in the cheat sheets. I had to use common sense and deductive reasoning to get some right and had to skip others. I still passed, though. So, yes, these cheat sheets are helpful, but do study the booklet as well. You can listen to the audio book on YT: it is like two hours. It is not the first time that I see DMV use new questions. Conclusion: cheat sheets are a great study aid and practice, but DMV appears to constantly come up with newer/modified questions which will not be on it. A combination of the book AND cheat sheets is the best way to prepare.

Had to get my license renewed and the test was a surprise. Failed the first time and then found this site and studied it in the lobby for 30 min or so and passed!

I am helping an 83 yr old friend get ready to renew her drivers license and this practice test has really helped her.

I got the Cheat sheet for my Granddaughter to study. She passed the written exam and got her driver's permit. She is over the age of eighteen and this was her fifth attempt at it.

this was for my grandson, and it helped him prepare for the test. it was worth it since he passed the first time.

I had many more questions on my test about the Amount of fines/ jail time etc. I was well prepared in some areas, these areas could be. Covered more.

The exam had some questions that were not part of the cheat sheet. Although I passed the test, I answered 4 questions wrong.

I studied the test questions religiously, but I still got wrong on the test! I wanted to see what questions i got wrong. The clerk said,"You passed the test. " Then he tore my test up, and threw it in the waste basket. I said I wanted to see it; I wanted to know what questions I got wrong. He just dismissed me. I thought I might have gotten two or three wrong, when asked how many feet or yards were in the question...like 5, 10 or 15 feet. Questions like that are stupid. I have been driving for 50 years, with no accidents! The test has a lot of stupid questions. Why not ask 10 feet, 35 feet or 50 feet. Then you might have a better change at guessing the right number.

Easier to understand and more information/explanation was given in comparison to the regular California DMV handbook.
